Projections for the Borough of West Chester and Notice of Public Hearing
The Preliminary Budget was adopted by Borough Council at its public meeting
on October 17, 2018.
Following is a summary of the Preliminary 2019 Budget and Financial
Projections for the
Borough of West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
West Chester Borough Council will hold a public hearing as part of Council’s
regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM at
their temporary location, 829 Paoli Pike, West Chester, Pennsylvania
19380 to approve the final 2019 Budget for the Borough of West Chester.
Borough citizens shall have the right at the hearing to express their views on

The budget as proposed includes a real estate tax rate of
6.96 mills, which is the same rate as 2018,
and an increase in the earned income tax to 1.25% for residents.
The Preliminary Budget is available for public inspection at the temporary
office of the Borough Manager,
829 Paoli Pike, West Chester, Pennsylvania 19380 during
regular business hours.
